Engage Falmouth

Mobilizing, motivating and empowering the community to be a force for progressive change.

Who is Engage Falmouth?

It all started around a kitchen table…

In the aftermath of the 2016 election, like so many people, we were feeling angry yet motivated to make a change. So a few friends told a couple other friends, and we hatched a plan to make our community (at least) active again.

Find out more about us, read some of our press coverage and watch these videos for more information!

So what’s the plan?

The assault on protections for the environment, vulnerable populations, and democracy in general, is never-ending. Luckily, there are already incredible groups doing critical social justice work, both locally and nationally. We decided that we’d do the most good by supporting the organizations already in place. By sharing tools and creatively organizing for social and environmental justice, our goal is to empower resistance and advance political change.

How do I get involved?

Just do it! Whatever your hot-button issues are, there is definitely a need for your passion. Start by joining our Facebook group (we ask a few questions to screen out trolls), our mailing list, and get in touch if you have a specific action you’d like us to know about.

Our top recommendation is to contact your representatives regularly for feedback on legislation (both positive and negative) and let them know you’re watching!

Join our Take Action newsletter for event notices and tips on racial and social equity! We’ll never sell or give away your contact information.
